Before you interview anyone, write down what the job actually is.
Choose what matters in your household and how you want to work together. You get back an interview guide whose questions are matched to those choices.
Free, and it stays that way. No account, no email, nothing saved. It all happens in your own browser.
Step 1 of 3
What defines your household?
Pick the 3 to 5 values that matter most in your home. Be honest, not aspirational. These shape the questions your candidate needs to answer.
How do you want to work together?
Now pick the 3 to 5 values that matter most in the working relationship with your helper.
What to do with it
Print it, or save it as a PDF, and have it in front of you during the interview. Write the answers down as you go. You will not remember which candidate said what by the third conversation, and the notes are what you compare afterwards.
Then write the job down properly before she starts. That is what Book 1 is for.
Not legal advice. In Singapore, a helper is entitled to a weekly rest day and at least one rest day a month that cannot be compensated away, under Ministry of Manpower rules. Verify current requirements at mom.gov.sg before you act.
